At the Resilience Center, participants are learning to restore their inner resources through the “Self-Help Plus” program

The Resilience Center in Zhytomyr has launched a new program — “Self-Help Plus,” aimed at developing self-care skills and restoring emotional resources.

During the first session, participants explored a topic familiar to everyone — stress. Together with a psychologist, they examined its components and types, discussed how differently we respond to challenges, and reflected on their own ways of recovery.

To look at stress from a new perspective, participants played the game “Stress Bingo” — discovering that its manifestations vary greatly from person to person. The session concluded with simple yet effective stress-reduction techniques, including a short meditation and grounding exercises focused on being present in the here and now.

These are small but meaningful steps toward calmness and recovery.
