Despite the war and destruction, new lives continue to be born in Ukraine. Unfortunately, now it’s not uncommon for young mothers to have to give birth in bomb shelters, basements, subway stations, during the evacuation, and even under shelling. Hundreds of destroyed hospitals, and pharmacies, bombed grocery stores and food warehouses, and a problematic supply of baby products from abroad led to a shortage of specialized products for pregnant women. Postpartum mothers and babies in the first months of their lives more than ever need special care and help.

BGV Charity Fund joined forces with German non-profit organization #WeAreAllUkrainians to implement a charity project in Ukraine with the aim of helping and supporting women and their newborns in Ukraine.

As part of the project’s first wave, #WeAreAllukrainians initiated the delivery of 10,000 care boxes to Ukraine with the immense support of German dm-drogerie markt, to be locally distributed by BGV Charity Fund. Each kit contains the most necessary items for the first months after birth for newborns and their mothers: specialized baby products of German quality, including pacifiers, bottles, feeding cocoons, diapers, nappies, skin care products, baby food, and hygiene products. These kits were sent by Nova Poshta to mothers of newborns in Ukraine absolutely for free, including delivery.

On August 16, the long-awaited second wave of our charity project started, as part of which another 10,000 families will receive kits for mothers and children. New donors joined and increased the aid with their products—companies HIPP Ukraine, Chicco, Huggies (Kimberly-Clark Corporation) and Biosphere Corporation.

We support a new life in Ukraine! We believe in a happy future!

WHO CAN GET OUR KIT?

The newborn child’s mother from any region and settlement in Ukraine can receive the kit. At the time of application for the kit, the child’s age should not be older than two months, as all products in our set are intended for children aged 0–2 months. Our fund provides aid in the amount of one kit for one newborn; you can apply for two sets for a family with twins.

HOW TO GET A KIT?

It’s easy to receive a kit. Please fill out a short application on our website, provide information about you and your child, your contact info, and details for delivery with the Nova Poshta service; and attach a photo or scan of the documents to the application: birth certificate and your ID (both sides) or passports (first and second pages, and registration page).

We process the application within a two-three week. If all the information you provided is correct, we will automatically confirm the application and send you a kit to the specified branch of Nova Poshta. Otherwise, we will contact you to clarify the information.
