Children Created Their Own “Happy City” Together with the Resilience Center

At the event “My Happy City: An Emotions Workshop,” children immersed themselves in a world of feelings and creativity. Participants chose their emotions on the “Mood Wheel,” drew their own city and marked how they felt in its different locations, played “Emotional Theater,” and created a symbolic “Tree of the Happy City.”

Specialists from the Resilience Center told Zhytomyr residents about the Center’s activities and the support opportunities available for both children and adults. Young guests received themed booklets to take a little piece of warmth home with them.

The Head of the Center, Liliia Sokoliuk, noted:
“Such events are important for both children and parents. They help us talk about emotions in new ways and better understand one another. This time, we also managed to combine a conversation about emotions with reflections on what we want our city to look like.”

The event became a space of joy, safety, and creative interaction.
