The Zhytomyr Resilience Center was visited by Liudmyla Shemelynets, First Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, together with her team. During the meeting, participants discussed the resilience-building service, its importance for communities, and the successful scaling of the pilot initiative that has now become part of the social services system.
💬 The dialogue also included Nataliia Arendarchuk, Deputy Head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration; Viktoriia Krasnopir, Director of the Department of Social Policy of the Zhytomyr City Council; and Yaroslav Voznyi, Head of the Zhytomyr Regional Office of the Social Protection Fund for Persons with Disabilities.
✅ The participants presented the Center’s practices and experience, and shared the results of cooperation with communities, social partners, and government authorities. The meeting provided an opportunity to reaffirm that through joint efforts, it is possible to strengthen societal resilience and make social services more accessible and effective.
The visit concluded with agreements on next steps to further improve the formats and methods of work in the interests of citizens 🙌🏼
