Charity in simplicity: the BGV Charity Fund team visited Patron Pet Center 🐾
Yesterday, our team visited Patron Pet Center — a place where animals with difficult pasts are learning to trust people again.
💕 We met Kudlata and Vovchok — an inseparable couple rescued together with their puppies. They’ve been through a lot but remained gentle, loyal, and full of warmth.
👩🏻🦽 Zara from Kharkiv lost her legs in an explosion. Now she enjoys long walks in a special wheelchair — she loves affection and radiates tenderness.
🦮 We heard stories of dogs rescued from active combat zones — found tied up in courtyards under shelling and drones. Despite what they endured, they remain joyful, seeking human connection and wagging their tails with gratitude.
😻 We met a tiny kitten living here with its mother — both waiting for a family willing to take them home together, because they simply can’t be apart.
👨🏻🦯 The center also supports service dog programs for veterans who have lost limbs. Patron works with partners from the USA to train Ukrainian handlers — ensuring that care and support continue to spread further.
☕ Soon, the Center will open a cozy space — a café with books, snacks, and purring company. It will be a place to relax your mind — and maybe meet your new best friend.
🐾 Want to help?
– Come for a walk with the dogs
– Volunteer — every helping hand matters
– Bring treats or toys for the animals
Even a small gesture can make a big difference. Come, share some warmth, and leave with your heart full of love. 💛
