30 May — award ceremony for regional winners of the “Side by Side. All-Ukrainian School Leagues” project held at Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration 🏆

More than 20,000 young athletes from 500 schools across the region competed in volleyball, basketball, handball, futsal, cheerleading, rugby, and sports orienteering.

“It’s a great joy to see your sincere smiles and eyes full of inspiration and drive for victory. I’m truly happy to be here today with youth who have goals, ambitions, and real team spirit. You are our future, and your achievements inspire others already. Each of you is a champion, regardless of competition results,” said Vitaliy Bunechko, head of Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration.

BGV Butkevych Foundation was the main partner of the event and provided support worth UAH 700,000, supplying the winners with sports uniforms, equipment, medals, and diplomas.

This year, 18 teams from Zhytomyr region will continue competing at the national level 🇺🇦
