Almost 2,900 tons of humanitarian cargo from Europe — results of March from the BGV Charity Fund team

With the start of Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine, volunteers and charitable organizations quickly regrouped to form a reliable rear and help Ukrainians.

The BGV Charity Fund team stays in Ukraine and continues its activities to organize and coordinate regular deliveries of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

As of March 31, 143 trucks of humanitarian cargo were delivered from Europe to Ukraine due to the work of the BGV Charity Fund team and its partners with the assistance of the Office of the President and the Kyiv City State Administration. It is 2,860 tons of foodstuff, medicines, bottled drinking water, baby food, personal care products, clothing, pet food, and much more.

 Where exactly was the help directed:

  • 92 trucks of humanitarian aid were delivered to Kyiv and the region. Including 32 trucks (640 tons) of essential goods provided in partnership with Rossmann and 25 trucks (500 tons) of humanitarian aid from Lidl.
  • 6 trucks of aid have already been delivered and unloaded to Zhytomyr. It is 120 tons of food, medicines, and clothes.
  • 130 tons of aid from partners were unloaded at the warehouses of the Kharkiv region.
  • In cooperation with partners, 66 tons of humanitarian cargo were delivered to the city of Dnipro.
  • 4 trucks of food and goods weighing 80 tons were delivered to Zaporizhia.
  • 2 trucks of food, clothing and hygiene products were unloaded at the warehouses of Mykolaiv.
  • Our company also delivered a 20-ton truck of humanitarian cargo to the city of Sumy, organizing food, personal hygiene products, and clothes for the citizens.
  • Another truck of 20 tons with food, clothes, and medicines was sent and unloaded at the warehouse in Chernivtsi.

Also, in the coming days, another 11 trucks (total weight of more than 220 tons) with humanitarian cargo for Ukrainians are arriving from Europe to the warehouses of Ukraine. Gennadii Butkevych, a Founder of BGV Group Management, shares: “Since the beginning of the war, our entire team has become a united front in defense of Ukraine. We did not run away but began to systematically help the country and its people to victory day after day. BGV Group Management has already allocated more than 2 million hryvnias for organizing of the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukraine from our foreign partners. We believe that every hryvnia is for our victory.”
