The BGV Charity Fund, in partnership with Malteser in Deutschland, organized a summer camp in Germany for 54 children from the Zhytomyr region. The initiative aims to support teenagers during wartime by giving them the opportunity for recovery, new experiences, and joyful moments.
Children aged 12 to 16 were invited to join the trip, including active community participants and winners of sports competitions. The summer holiday took place in the town of Wangerland on the North Sea coast. The children were welcomed at a tent camp that combined nature, activities, and a friendly atmosphere.
During the week-long stay, they enjoyed a rich program that fostered emotional recovery, socialization, and development:
🌅 Morning yoga in the fresh air
🏖 Beach activities, team games, and contests
🎨 Creative workshops and master classes
🧩 Games and development tasks to encourage communication and self-expression
The BGV Charity Fund sincerely thanks its partners at Malteser in Deutschland for making this important initiative possible. Together, we create opportunities for children to grow, dream, and feel valued — even in the most challenging times.
