BGV Charity Fund continues to support Ukrainian institutions for children by helping them upgrade their computer equipment. In October 2023, the charitable organization responded to official requests and, in accordance with them, provided modern tablets and laptops that were generously donated by Infopulse-Ukraine.
Children’s institutions in Kharkiv and Zhytomyr regions that received equipment from the BGV Charity Fund team include: the Inclusive Resource Center in the city of Olevsk, where classes are held for children with special educational needs; the Beryzka kindergarten in Horshchykiv; and the Boryv Youth and Creativity Center.
“The laptops we received will improve both the administrative work of our specialists and the delivery of correctional and developmental classes for children with special educational needs. Our experts now use the automated AS IRC system to generate the Conclusion on the Comprehensive Psychological and Educational Assessment of a Child’s Development,” said Olena Buchynska, director of the Olevsk Inclusive Resource Center, sharing how the equipment has made a positive impact on their work.
She also noted that games play a vital role not only in developing children’s intellect, memory, and attention, but also in improving motor coordination, expanding vocabulary, recognizing colors and geometric shapes, building sentences, navigating on paper, and more.
In addition, with these laptops, specialists can now work remotely, hold meetings of child support teams for each child together with general secondary school teachers, and save both time and travel costs to remote villages in the community. They are also able to provide online consultations for parents and teachers on various issues.
We would like to remind you that providing humanitarian aid to institutions in Ukraine that work with children is one of the BGV Charity Fund’s key priorities.
