44 Trucks and a Front Loader for Ukraine’s Border Guards: UAH 40 Million in Aid Provided by BGV Charity Fund and MHP
In September, another large-scale aid package worth UAH 40 million was delivered to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS).
This time, in cooperation with MHP, BGV Charity Fund transferred 44 Iveco EuroCargo trucks and one front loader to support and improve logistics on the front lines.
During the handover, Serhii Serdiuk, Deputy Head of the SBGS, emphasized that the State Border Guard Service continues forming brigade-type units and, alongside other defense forces, protects Ukraine in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Sumy sectors, while also ensuring security along the entire border with the Russian Federation and Belarus.
He noted that the Iveco EuroCargo trucks will significantly enhance the combat capability of border guard units — particularly those positioned on the front lines. The vehicles will improve logistics, allowing faster and more reliable delivery of military and technical equipment directly to operational positions.
On behalf of himself and the Head of the SBGS, Serdiuk expressed his gratitude to the leadership of MHP and all partners involved, highlighting the importance of continued support and cooperation.
“As a business that continues to operate and pay taxes, we must also fulfill our social responsibility to support Ukraine’s defense forces — whether it’s the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, or the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We must be there in time to help those who need it most. That’s why we try to assist everyone, especially such structured and frontline units as the SBGS, which both perform critical diplomatic functions and maintain military units defending our borders with Russia. This is our duty and our honor — to strengthen defense capabilities, to act when and where needed, and to take tangible steps toward Victory. We are proud to do so,” — said Yurii Melnyk, Deputy CEO of MHP.
Oleh Pastushchak, Executive Director of BGV Charity Fund, also commented on the initiative, noting that the partnership with the SBGS began earlier, and that this project was made possible through close cooperation with MHP-Gromadi Foundation, the MHP Corporation, and other partners.
“We are doing everything possible to strengthen our northern and eastern borders. It is always an honor for us to support those who are the first to respond to the enemy, who, unfortunately, continues to aggressively invade our land,” — said Pastushchak.
