BGV Charity Fund has implemented a project to purchase and deliver seven new Mitsubishi L200 vehicles to support the needs of the military, border guards, rescuers, and law enforcement agencies in the Zhytomyr region.
Additionally, representatives of the fund handed over 20 generators, which will be delivered to defense infrastructure facilities across the Zhytomyr region. These generators will help ensure uninterrupted operation amid power outages and disruptions in electricity supply. The total amount of aid provided was UAH 12.4 million.
Furthermore, the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration and BGV Charity Fund signed a memorandum of cooperation to unite efforts aimed at supporting the Zhytomyr region during the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and in the post-war recovery period.
Key areas of cooperation between the fund and the administration include:
Humanitarian support — providing consumer and non-consumer goods to socially vulnerable groups in the region;
Organizing quality and systematic rehabilitation services for citizens affected by military actions;
Assisting local self-government bodies and military formations in the Zhytomyr region;
Preparing resilience centers (“points of invincibility”);
Strengthening defense capabilities and mobilization readiness;
Promoting socially responsible projects aimed at the development of the Zhytomyr region and its communities during the war and in the post-war period.
