Children belong to the most vulnerable segment of the population, requiring comprehensive material and psychological support, especially during war. That’s why offering humanitarian aid to young Ukrainians stands as one of the priority areas of BGV Charity Fund’s activity.
Last year, our collaboration with partners led to the launch of a large-scale charity project in Ukraine. Within the initiative, 40,000 children have already received aid valued at around €4 million. The project spanned 23 regions and distributed kits with the most needed children’s products for free to families with newborns in nearly 2,908 towns.
On November 20, 2023, the BGV Charity Fund, in collaboration with the project initiator, the German non-profit organization #WeAreAllUkrainians, and the German donor dm-drogerie markt (DM) — with support from the Biosphere Corporation, the Bübchen brand, and the British charity foundation Eneida — unveiled the fifth wave of aid for children.
The project’s logistics partner, the Nova Poshta postal company, will cover the delivery expenses and send the aid kits to every family across Ukraine.
You asked — we heard! In response to many mothers writing to us that they missed the opportunity to receive sets as their babies turned one, not meeting the earlier project conditions, we’ve chosen to direct the fifth wave specifically to children aged 1 to 2 years.
IMPORTANT CONDITIONS! Only the families who haven’t received assistance within the scope of the project can take part in the fifth wave.
Applications for aid are open to families with babies born between November 20, 2021, and November 20, 2022, i.e., aged 1 to 2 years old at the time of the project’s launch.
An additional 10,000 kits include essential children’s products: clothes, babycare hygienic and cosmetic products, diapers, household chemicals, as well as toys and development books.
Families with children from any region and town in Ukraine (excluding temporarily occupied territories) are eligible to receive a charity kit. Applications for assistance are open for babies born between November 20, 2021, and November 20, 2022, falling within the 1 to 2-year-old age group at the project’s launch, as the set’s contents cater to this specific age range. Our fund provides aid in the form of one set per child. If you have multiple children within this age group, you can apply for a kit for each child.
Receiving aid is very simple. Fill out a brief application on our website, providing information about you and your child, your contact info, and delivery details for Nova Poshta. Please attach scanned copies or photos of the necessary documents: the child’s birth certificate, your ID card (both sides) or passport (including the first, second, and registration pages), and your individual tax number.
After completing and submitting the online form on our website, please be sure to confirm the application. You’ll receive a confirmation letter at the e-mail address you provided. To confirm the application, log in to your email inbox. Locate the email from BGV Charity Fund (check the “Spam” folder as well) and click the link or special button in the email’s body.
Without verification, the application cannot be considered by our system. Once confirmed, the system will generate your unique number and send your application details to the provided email address. Please save this number for future reference. We process the application within a few weeks. If the information you provided is accurate, we’ll automatically confirm the application and dispatch the set to the specified Nova Poshta branch. Otherwise, we will contact you by email to clarify the information.
