BGV Charity Fund has equipped a shelter for residents of the Kochubeivka community

In one of the settlements of the Kochubeivka community in Kherson region, a newly equipped shelter has been opened and is now available to residents. In a region that continues to live under the constant threat of shelling, a safe space is a critically important element of civilian protection.

As part of a joint project with the Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC), the shelter was fully renovated and equipped with everything necessary for people to stay safely. In particular, a ventilation system was installed, stable internet access and an uninterrupted power supply were ensured, 24/7 automated access was implemented, and the premises were furnished with essential furniture and basic equipment.

“This shelter has become an important source of support for our community. Both adults and children can stay here safely. We sincerely thank BGV Charity Fund and our partners who helped create a comfortable space for people during shelling and air raid alerts,” said Liudmyla Stepanivna Kostiuk, Head of the Rural Military Administration.

The project was implemented with the support of the Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC). Initiatives like this strengthen community resilience and provide basic safety conditions for residents of frontline areas.
