The Resilience Center hosted a professional dialogue with first- and second-year psychology students from Polissia National University. Moving away from traditional lectures, the Center chose an open “Q&A” format, allowing future specialists to focus on the real-world challenges they will face in today’s demanding environment.
During the session, participants discussed the role of a psychologist in a world where chronic stress has become the norm, methods for transitioning from theory to practice, and the specific nuances of social sector work. Special attention was given to professional expectations and the importance of a consultant’s own resilience as a foundation for effective community support.
The Center’s experts were impressed by the depth of the students’ inquiries and their readiness to engage with complex professional topics. Such meetings foster a strong professional community and help students better understand the specifics of their future careers during their academic years.
