Art Through Pain: Teenagers Create Drawings About War

Inspired by the exhibition “Courage of the Nation,” teenagers from the SviTy space expressed their переживання and reflections on war through art. Their drawings are more than images — they are sincere and powerful stories about destroyed schools, interrupted childhoods, and the reality in which Ukrainian youth live every day.

One of the works, created by Lana, bears the inscription: “Lyceum No. 25, where I studied — destroyed by Russia.” Every line in these drawings carries pain, yet also an unbreakable belief in the future. These artworks will become meaningful gifts for donors who support the Kids of Ukraine charity fund and the development of the SviTy spaces.

Such creative initiatives help young people process difficult experiences, transforming emotions into strength. We are grateful to everyone who supports our children and gives them the opportunity to be heard — even through art.
