On October 17, the fifth GOLDEN GLOVE Charity Award Ceremony took place. The award was founded by philanthropist and public figure Anna Butkevych. The event brought together Ukrainian artists, athletes, patrons, and philanthropists to support those who need it most.
GOLDEN GLOVE honors individuals whose work inspires others, helps communities, and makes a significant contribution to Ukraine’s development. This year’s award recipients were:

🚒 Rescuer of the Year – Oleksandr Klochkov
📚 Teacher of the Year – Borys Khovriak
🩺 Doctor of the Year – Oleksii Nosulko
❤️ ATB Award – Liudmyla Korolchuk
💙 BGV Award – Mariia Kurylo
💼 Business of the Year – Andrii Zdesenko
🏅 People’s Heroes – Yehor Sakal, Abdulazys Kaimuz, Yehor Airapetian, Vladyslav and Artem Makarenko
🥊 Athlete of the Year – Oleksandr Usyk
🎭 Contribution to the Arts – Yurii Rybchynskyi
The ceremony featured performances by ZLATA OGNEVICH, ALEKSEEV, MELOVIN, Ivan Navi, Mykhailo Khoma, YATSUTA, Tonya Matviienko, and Anna Butkevych. One of the most touching moments of the evening was a show by the inclusive modeling school “NoviMy,” led by Olha Akimova.
Among the distinguished guests were Vitalii and Volodymyr Klitschko, Oleksandr and Kateryna Usyk, Andrii Shevchenko, Dmytro Gordon and Alesia Batsman, Anna Rizatdinova, Yurii Tkach with his wife, Nadia Dorofieieva, Pavlo Shylko, Semen Horov, and other well-known friends of the award.
A special highlight of the evening was the charity auction, which raised over 5 million UAH. All proceeds will be donated to BGV Charity Fund to purchase medical equipment for the Kherson Regional Children’s Hospital.
“GOLDEN GLOVE is about unity, humanity, and the belief that kindness can change the world. Once again, we proved that when Ukrainian hearts beat together, anything is possible,” emphasized Anna Butkevych.
