The Kherson region suffers daily from relentless shelling. People live under constant threat; children go to school not knowing whether the day will be peaceful, and parents go to sleep wondering if their home will withstand the next night. In such conditions, safe shelters are not about comfort — they are about life and survival.
That is why we have launched an important project: equipping a shelter for local residents in the village of Orlove, Kochubeivka community.
As part of the project, we will:
🔹 install a ventilation system;
🔹 provide Internet access and an uninterruptible power supply;
🔹 set up an automated access system for 24/7 use;
🔹 purchase furniture and essential equipment.
The project is implemented with the support of the CIVIC Local Initiatives Fund within the framework of the project “Resilience in Crisis: Protection of Civilians in Ukraine.”
We believe this shelter will become not only a safe haven for the community, but also a space for learning, meetings, and mutual support 💙💛
