At the Resilience Center, a training session titled “Emotional Regulation: The First Step Toward Psychological Resilience” was held for members of the Zhytomyr Regional NGO Union of People with Disabilities of Ukraine.
During the meeting, participants discussed:
ways to better understand and recognize their emotions;
techniques for coping with stress and anxiety;
how to find inner resources in everyday moments.
Attendees shared personal experiences, received expert advice, and took part in an art therapy exercise — creating a “positive message in a jar” as a symbol of self-care and support.
“Having access to psychological support is extremely important, as it helps not only to get through difficult moments but also to preserve mental health and resilience. I especially appreciate how engaging and non-burdensome the format of your support is…” — shared Nataliia Tsyplitska, Head of the Zhytomyr Regional NGO Union of People with Disabilities of Ukraine.
The atmosphere of openness, acceptance, and respect made the training a truly empowering and inspiring experience for all participants. 💙
