The Resilience Center in Zhytomyr Celebrates Its 1-Year Anniversary!
This year has been about people. About meetings, trust, support, and real changes that begin with a conversation and a space where you are heard.
Our Center has become a place of strength for:
- mothers learning to be resilient for their children;
- servicemen going through life-changing experiences;
- educators, doctors, social workers — those who hold the community’s rear guard every day and learn to care not only for others but also for themselves.
We believe it is important to have a safe space where your feelings are not “exaggerations” but a reality you can live through and change.
In one year of work:
- 7,395 people received support at the Center;
- 427 individual consultations were held;
- 442 group events were organized — from art therapy sessions to specialist training.
This year was made possible thanks to joint efforts. We sincerely thank:
- the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine — for implementing the project;
- BGV Charity Fund — for ongoing support, faith, and real actions;
- the nationwide mental health program “How Are You?” — for the inspiration and the voice with which we speak about mental health;
- partners and local authorities — for trust and cooperation.
We believe care has power. And even in the darkest times, there is a chance for recovery.
One year is just the beginning. More to come.
