The Center for Resilience in Zhytomyr celebrates the anniversary of its work

The Resilience Center in Zhytomyr Celebrates Its 1-Year Anniversary!

This year has been about people. About meetings, trust, support, and real changes that begin with a conversation and a space where you are heard.

Our Center has become a place of strength for:

  • mothers learning to be resilient for their children;
  • servicemen going through life-changing experiences;
  • educators, doctors, social workers — those who hold the community’s rear guard every day and learn to care not only for others but also for themselves.

We believe it is important to have a safe space where your feelings are not “exaggerations” but a reality you can live through and change.

In one year of work:

  • 7,395 people received support at the Center;
  • 427 individual consultations were held;
  • 442 group events were organized — from art therapy sessions to specialist training.

This year was made possible thanks to joint efforts. We sincerely thank:

  • the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine — for implementing the project;
  • BGV Charity Fund — for ongoing support, faith, and real actions;
  • the nationwide mental health program “How Are You?” — for the inspiration and the voice with which we speak about mental health;
  • partners and local authorities — for trust and cooperation.

We believe care has power. And even in the darkest times, there is a chance for recovery.

One year is just the beginning. More to come.
