Support Day for Defenders’ Children: workshop at the S. P. Korolyov Museum of Cosmonautics

Specialists from the Resilience Center organized an educational day for children from families of fallen and missing servicemen.

Participants visited the S. P. Korolyov Museum of Cosmonautics in Zhytomyr, where they learned about the history of space exploration and the life and achievements of the outstanding engineer. After the tour, the children took part in a workshop where they created their own rockets — embodying dreams, imagination, and faith in the future.

The event was held as part of an initiative by the NGO “Ukrainian Military Organization,” with grant support from the Zhytomyr City Council. The Resilience Center team contributed to organizing and supporting the event.

Among the participants were Maryna Chernous with her daughter Lilia and son Vitaliy. Her husband Andriy went missing in December 2023 and is believed to be in captivity.

💬 “My husband and I used to come to the museum; now we come with the children. My daughter is interested, and it helps her to take her mind off things. This is important for us,” shared Maryna.

Events like these are more than just activities. They create warm memories, support children, and help families restore inner strength during times when it is desperately needed.
