Restoring psycho-emotional well-being: Training for medical staff of outpatient clinics No. 13 and No. 14

Medical workers support others every day — often putting their own needs aside. That’s why the Resilience Center team held a training titled “Restoring Psycho-Emotional Well-Being During Wartime” for specialists from general practice outpatient clinics No. 13 and No. 14 in Zhytomyr.

During the session, participants learned about the impact of prolonged stress on mental health, practiced self-regulation techniques, anxiety reduction strategies, and ways to restore internal resources.

Special attention was given to art therapy approaches — the participants completed a creative exercise by writing cinquains (five-line poems) expressing their personal associations with the medical profession. This format allowed them to reimagine their professional role, find inspiration, and share words of support for themselves and their colleagues.

The event took place in a warm atmosphere of trust, professional exchange, and mutual support.
