The development company BGV Development (part of the BGV Group founded by Hennadii Butkevych) and the construction company ArtHouse Group have become the general partners of Iryna Bondar, a freestyle wrestler from Zhytomyr who represents Ukraine in international competitions. The partnership includes a year-long sponsorship of the athlete and her team, covering training, preparation, and participation in international tournaments.
The sponsorship is coordinated by BGV Charity Fund, which has been implementing various projects and initiatives supporting sports in the Zhytomyr region for several years, especially youth sports, in cooperation with companies founded by Hennadii Butkevych.
Notably, on March 12, Iryna Bondar won gold at the U23 European Wrestling Championships in Tirana, decisively defeating a competitor from Russia in the final. This victory marks her third U23 European Champion title. Bondar competes in the 62 kg weight category, having previously won European Championships in 2023 (Bucharest) and 2024 (Baku).
“Sport is another way for Ukrainians to represent their country with dignity on the international stage. Every medal is not just a personal achievement, but a victory for Ukraine over its enemy. It’s proof that even in the most difficult times, we continue to fight and grow. That’s why athletes representing Ukraine at global competitions truly need support. I’m grateful to the companies that step up to offer it,” — said Iryna Bondar.
The companies BGV Development and ArtHouse Group emphasized the importance of supporting Ukrainian sports as a symbol of resilience, determination, and Ukraine’s readiness to compete for leadership on the international sports arena — even during wartime. As part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategies, both companies have committed to strengthening their focus on supporting athletes from Zhytomyr and creating new opportunities for youth, making sports development a key area of their social engagement.
