Positive facets of life’s kaleidoscope: training for participants of the “Ukrainian Union of People with Disabilities”

At the Resilience Center, a heartfelt training titled “Positive Facets of Life’s Kaleidoscope” was held for members of the All-Ukrainian Union of People with Disabilities. Together with our specialists, participants reflected on joyful and meaningful memories from their lives using the art therapy technique “Rainbow of Life.”

A highlight of the event was a hands-on workshop on creating a “Zhaivoronok” motanka doll, led by the talented artisan Hanna Ivchenko, head of the regional association of folk artists “Mystetske Polissia.” This creative process gave each participant the opportunity to express themselves and craft something unique and heartfelt.

The training was also honored by the visit of Yurii Pohodytskyi, the Representative of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in Zhytomyr Region. He shared valuable information about the rights of people with disabilities and the key areas of his office’s work, engaging in meaningful conversations and answering participants’ questions.

The team at the Resilience Center in Zhytomyr remains committed to creating a safe and empowering space, where every person can find support, motivation, and new perspectives for personal growth.
