To mark the historic return of the Scythian gold collection to Ukraine, Gunia Project, in collaboration with the Mystetskyi Arsenal, BGV Charity Fund, AZOV.ONE, and the Treasury of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine, created a unique piece of jewelry inspired by one of the collection’s artifacts.
All proceeds from the sale of this piece — 1 million UAH — were donated to purchase electronic warfare (EW) equipment for the National Guard brigade “Azov.”
The exhibition project “Treasures of Crimea. The Return” is a powerful victory in the fight for Ukraine’s cultural heritage — a testament to millennia of history shaped by many civilizations, and a reaffirmation of the rule of law.
The exhibition showcases 565 artifacts, the return of which followed 10 years of legal battles over ownership rights between Ukraine and museums located in Russian-occupied territory.
The exhibition opened on July 5, 2024, and will remain on display until the de-occupation of Crimea. Until then, every visitor will have the opportunity to witness these unique artifacts and feel a deep connection to Ukraine’s rich and ancient culture.
