International зroject “Rebuilding Hope” in Zhytomyr: supporting mental health professionals

Zhytomyr continues to implement the international project “Rebuilding Hope: Psychological Support for People Affected by the War in Ukraine.” The initiative is aimed at supporting mental health professionals who work with individuals experiencing trauma. The project is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland and coordinated by the Kalejdoskop Kultur Foundation.

Specialists from the Resilience Centre have actively joined the initiative and have already taken part in several training sessions focused on restoring the inner resources of those who provide daily support to others.

Recently, the Centre hosted a meeting with Katarzyna Zaremba, Vice-Chair of the Kalejdoskop Kultur Foundation, representatives of the Polish initiative, and Olga Yurchenko, Director of the Zhytomyr Centre for Social Services. During the discussion, Head of the Resilience Centre Liliia Sokoluk introduced the guests to the Centre’s work, key focus areas, services provided, common requests from clients, and the challenges faced by mental health professionals.

International cooperation enables valuable experience sharing and the implementation of effective support programs for those who need it most.
