Today, social workers are among the most vital professionals in our society. Despite difficult terrain, harsh weather conditions, and the constant threat of shelling, they continue to provide critical assistance to the most vulnerable—people who, due to the full-scale war, need support now more than ever. Social workers ensure that those unable to care for themselves receive the necessary help, remaining a pillar of support for thousands of Ukrainians with limited mobility.

Recognizing the significance and challenges of this profession, we understand how essential it is to support social workers in their mission. This week, ahead of their professional holiday, the BGV Charity Fund team participated in a special event, presenting certificates for individual mobility aids to social workers across Zhytomyr region.

In total, 46 communities in the region will receive 68 motor scooters, making it easier for social workers to reach those in need.
