Gennadiy Butkevich’s investment company, BGV Group Management, has become the general partner of Anastasia Rybachok, a canoeist and athlete representing Ukraine at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

The BGV Charity Fund also joined this initiative, providing support to athletes from the Zhytomyr region.

🏅 Anastasia Rybachok is the only athlete from Zhytomyr to be part of the Ukrainian Olympic team. As part of the partnership, BGV Group Management has purchased a new canoe for Anastasia and covered a significant portion of the team’s organizational and logistical expenses during her preparation for the Olympics.

🚣‍♀️ The new canoe is designed with modern technologies and fully complies with the International Canoe Federation’s technical standards. It is the same model Anastasia has been training on since the beginning of her professional career with the Ukrainian Olympic team. The design of the canoe was created by Anastasia herself, reflecting her Ukrainian identity.

Anastasia Rybachok shared:
“This canoe is not just a perfect boat model. First and foremost, it is a symbol of faith in me and my capabilities. I wanted to emphasize my Ukrainian roots through the design, so everyone can see that I’m from Ukraine, and I am incredibly proud of it! I’m so grateful to BGV for their support in preparing for and participating in world-class competitions. I will do my best to represent Zhytomyr and Ukraine at the Olympic Games in Paris.”

BGV Group Management has been actively supporting sports in the Zhytomyr region for years. Besides backing local teams such as FC Polissia and HC Zhytychi-Polissia, the company also invests in children’s sports, sports schools, and regional sports infrastructure. Supporting the only representative from Zhytomyr in the national Olympic team is a logical continuation of the Group’s commitment to sports development in the region.
