The BGV Charity Fund has received funding for the International Day of Play initiative, supported by The LEGO Foundation!
With this support, the BGV Foundation was awarded a UAH 80,000 grant to purchase board games for IDP teenagers undergoing psychological rehabilitation at the “SviTy” centre in Zhytomyr.
🎲 The role of games in rehabilitation is invaluable. Games not only entertain but also serve as a powerful tool for personal development and emotional relief. They help create a sense of psychological comfort and offer a way for young people to bond with their peers.
The project will also feature three key events for 80 teenagers at the SviTy safe space in Zhytomyr:
✅ Children’s Gaming Festival
✅ Game Marathon for Teenagers
✅ Training Marathon ‘Play and Develop’
BGV Charity Fund expresses sincere gratitude to the LEGO Foundation for supporting this project, which allows 80 IDP teenagers to enjoy quality leisure time and engage in positive social activities with their peers.
A special thanks to ChangeX for their contribution!
