The BGV Charity Fund continues working on partnership initiatives to attract more partners, improve fundraising results, and expand support for Ukrainian defenders.
In April, the BGV Group Management led by Hennadii Butkevych, BGV Charity Fund, Sviatoslav Vakarchuk’s People of the Future Foundation, supported by the N-club business club, organized a charity event to raise funding for equipment for Ukrainian forces.
The evening featured an intimate acoustic concert by Ukrainian rock singer Sviatoslav Vakarchuk. He performed several of his own songs and popular hits from his band, Okean Elzy.
A vital part of the event was a charity auction, where participants supported the fundraising goal by purchasing items donated by military personnel and famous Ukrainian athletes.
The event raised almost UAH 6 million through ticket sales and auction items, and the organizers contributed UAH 500,000 to this amount.
With the funding raised, the BGV Charity Fund purchased and delivered equipment worth over UAH 3 million to the military.
The team bought 230 sets of protective gear for soldiers at the A2298 military base, totaling UAH 1.2 million.
For the Liut United Assault Brigade of the National Police, the fund acquired combat vehicles totaling UAH 1.2 million. These included:
a four-seater buggy for UAH 700,000,
a quad bike for UAH 326,000,
a trailer for UAH 74,500,
and a nine-channel electronic warfare (EW) system for UAH 100,000.
The fund purchased and upgraded a minibus for the A1435 military base for UAH 700,000. This vehicle will be used for service and operational missions, including transporting personnel to task locations and carrying cargo directly related to combat.
Sviatoslav Vakarchuk’s People of the Future Foundation also contributed by purchasing and delivering equipment worth over UAH 3 million for Ukrainian soldiers.
The 5th Separate Tank Brigade received a Vepryk ground drone, EW systems, FPV drones, initiation boards (36 units), and two Mavic 3T drones with thermal imagers, totaling UAH 1.708 million.
For the 13th KHARTIA Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, 35 FPV Hrim drones and 35 VZ-1 dynamometric sensor boards cost UAH 770,000. For the 24th Brigade, three Mavic 3T drones with thermal imagers cost UAH 636,000.
