BGV Charity Fund case presented at Strategy School for managers

On May 4, Polina Aldoshyna, director of the BGV Charity Fund, spoke at an educational event for managers called “System Modeling,” organized by Volodymyr Pavelko, founder of the Strategy School for entrepreneurs.
“Every charity fund today contributes to shaping and developing the culture of charity in Ukraine. In a country currently at war, this is extremely important,” said Polina Aldoshyna.
The BGV Charity Fund case was selected as exemplary of effectively implementing systemic charity projects during the full-scale war in Ukraine.
Key highlights included:
Successful strategic focus on the chosen target audience of beneficiaries.
Operational principles including a clear stance against collaborating with international brands that continue to sell their products in the aggressor country.
Technologies as systemic solutions in creating added value in the fund’s products.

During her presentation, Polina Aldoshyna shared how the fund was established, discussed priority assistance areas, and outlined the stages of well-known projects such as “Tablets,” “Everyone Matters,” “Eco-Consciousness from the Cradle,” and “Faces of Strength.” As part of the latter project, the BGV Charity Fund also presented a photo exhibition featuring nine Ukrainians who received prosthetics in Estonia.

The fund’s director also highlighted the challenges currently faced by charity organizations in Ukraine, including:
Maintaining donor attention;
Prioritizing humanitarian aid provision;
Adapting to changing social trends;
Legislative changes in the charity sector.

In a collaborative setting, event participants analyzed the presented cases, discussed performance indicators, and built “systems” and “supersystems” based on these cases.
