BGV Charity Fund, together with Hanseatic Help and #WeAreAllUkrainians, distributes 700 gifts to children in Okhmatdyt

For the second year in a row, the BGV Charity Fund, in collaboration with its German partners, the non-profit organisations Hanseatic Help and #WeAreAllUkrainians, organised a St Nicholas Day celebration for young Ukrainians undergoing treatment at the National Specialised Hospital “Okhmatdyt”.

On St. Nicholas Day, Polina Aldoshina, Director of the BGV Charity Fund, along with other members of the Foundation’s team, visited the children’s hospital to personally congratulate the children on the holiday and distribute 700 gifts, including sweets, toys, sketchbooks, and felt-tip pens. St Nicholas himself also visited the young patients.

As a reminder, the German non-profit organisations Hanseatic Help and #WeAreAllUkrainians contributed EUR 125,000 in targeted aid to organise holidays and gifts for children from socially vulnerable categories.

‘In this difficult time, while our country is fighting for its territories, these children are facing another battle – for their own health. We are happy to give them a festive mood and help distract them from their illness for a while,’ said the head of the foundation.

Supporting young Ukrainians during the war is one of the priority areas of the BGV Charity Fund’s activities.
