Since March 2023, the BGV Charity Fund has received 60 generators from Estonian partners. This project was initiated by Tallinn Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart and facilitated through the Association of Estonian Cities and Municipalities to support crucial facilities across different regions in Ukraine.
The generators, with a total value of €209,000, vary in power capacity. The BGV fund’s team delivered them to six regions in Ukraine, including Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, and Cherkasy.
The power stations were allocated for the needs of military bases, as well as the Kherson Emergency Rescue Service, the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Zhytomyr region, the Olevsk City Council’s geriatric pension, the State University “Zhytomyr Polytechnic,” and village councils.
As a reminder, Estonian partners, particularly Tallinn Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart and the Association of Estonian Cities and Municipalities, collaborate with the BGV Charity Fund, providing regular and systematic support to Ukraine and its people in times of war.
