The BGV Charity Fund, in collaboration with its partners, announces the launch of the fourth wave of the charity project for families with newborn children. The Fund, together with donors — German partners dm-drogerie markt, #WeAreAllUkrainians, as well as with the support of the Biosphere corporation, the “Bübchen” brand, and the British initiative We Help Ukrainians — has collected an additional 10,000 kits containing products for babies and mothers, and the logistics partner Nova Poshta will deliver this aid free of charge across the country. Each kit contains around 17 types of specialized baby products, including baby clothes (bodysuits, overalls, sweaters, socks), diapers, baby food, swaddles, skincare products, hygiene items, toys, household chemicals, and more. The total value of the products in the fourth wave of the project exceeds 1 million euros.
Any family with a newborn child from any region or settlement in Ukraine can receive the charity kit. The child must be under three months old at the time of the application. To receive the kit, you need to fill out a short online application on the official website of the BGV Charity Fund, providing information about the child and one of the parents, shipping details, and attaching a photo or scan of the necessary documents — the child’s birth certificate, the passport or ID card of one of the parents, and the individual taxpayer number.
The application will be processed within a few weeks. If all information is correct, the fund’s team will automatically approve the application, and Nova Poshta will deliver the kit to the family. If the application requires additions, the fund representatives will contact the provided contacts for further clarification.
“Helping children is one of the main focuses of our charity work. Over the past year, the BGV Charity Fund has implemented more than 10 initiatives to support childhood in Ukraine despite these challenging times. We try to provide aid to families with young children both directly (for example, through four waves of the newborns’ project) and by helping major educational and medical institutions for children, such as Okhmatdyt, Kyiv Regional Perinatal Center, Bucha Children’s Art School, orphanages, and maternity centers in the regions. We do not plan to stop. Today, together with donors, we are preparing to launch a large-scale project for schoolchildren, which will help technically support online education. Our entire team is happy with every partnership and every idea that ultimately turns into unique charity initiatives,” said Anna Butkevych, founder of the BGV Charity Fund.
As a reminder, within the first three waves of the project, the BGV Charity Fund, together with partners, has already collected and distributed 30,000 kits for babies and mothers with essential products across Ukraine. The project covered 23 regions of Ukraine, and the kits were delivered to 2,469 cities, towns, and villages. Part of the aid — nearly 2,000 newborn kits — was distributed by the BGV Charity Fund in collaboration with the Ombudsman’s Office through a separate regional program for families with children in need, including large families, low-income families, and IDPs.
